I have been going to this church most of my life. The Pastor and his wife chose to love me when I was unloveable and are a great example of how much compassion God has for us. They showed me from the Bible how to dress right, talk right, pray right, and how to lead right. I could never thank them and the church family for living separated lives devoted to helping broken people searching for the truth from God's word. I would not be where I am without their constant care and honest prayer.
I have attended a couple of different churches over the years. This one really sticks out. The kind hearted people are very accepting and friendly, and the services are filled with wisdom and Biblical truths. The Pastor and his wife are very unselfish and supportive. I would highly recommend this church to anyone who is looking for a good church home.
In our current age there are many people who are ignorant of God's Word regarding what God expects from a Christian. Because of social pressures and fear of offending people, many preachers today have elected to water down their sermons to the point of fulfilling what Paul wrote to Timothy; "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine...".

I highly recommend visiting Open Bible Baptist Church if you get the opportunity. If I did not move, I would still be attending. The Pastor and his family are special people and live the Christian life genuinely. They lead by example. If you visit this church, be prepared to hear the Bible preached. God used this church to make a huge impact on my life. I am forever grateful for OBBC.
I've been a member for 15 yrs. and have witnessed a pastor that "stands in the gap", preaching the whole council of God without compromise nor fear of man. I've seen an example, 1 Cor 11:1 of a spiritual leader who labors for his Lord as he watches and leads the congregation.

In addition to great preaching and teaching, the church offers many fun activities and opportunities for service. The pastor and his wife made me feel welcome at the church from the first time I attended. They are thoughtful and take the time to get to know each church member. I have known the pastor and his wife for over 20 years and have always been inspired by their consistent Christian testimony!
