I really like it that they are trying to clean up their lables. Also find things here that I can't find other places! Enjoy shopping here!!!
The new store is very clean, very organized, and much nicer than the previous location. The staff is friendly and helpful. And the selection is good, as well as the prices.
The new store has an expanded product selection, still has great prices. Clean, well lit, easy to shop. I would like a bit more organic produce, but there are grass fed meats and butters, gluten free options and items you don’t find in other stores.
Used to be a great place to shop for groceries. Then they got greedy. Milk and bread are still some of the cheapest items to buy versus other outlets, and some of their meat isn't too bad, but like the pork chops, the outside of the package makes it look like your getting some good chops, then you open it.....wow:( Do not buy their canned tuna fish. Label should read " very small diced to oblivion tuna with water! "
I have a love hate relationship with ALDI. First of all, I really love the new building here in Warsaw. It's much more spacious and clean than the old one. However the parking lot is much more congested and harder to park and maneuver when entering and leaving. I also don't like the location. Traffic at the 4 way stop by Menards is TERRIBLE especially during rush hour. Whoever designed that setup should be fired. Also, it appears that they changed the frequency of the stop light on US 30 to accommodate the increase in traffic to and from Aldi. As a result, traffic is backed up for miles at a time which can be very frustrating. I like their prices but they either don't have everything that I want or it seems that when I do go for something that they have they are either out of stock or don't carry that product anymore. So it forces me to go to another grocery store. Their produce is fair but nothing to brag about. I wish they had more organic produce selections. I like the produce at Owen's much better. If they would offer more like Kroger/Owens at Aldi prices I would definitely go there more often and give it a higher rating. I usually go to Aldi for a handful of things.
