Edit: Since posting this they have gotten back with me, and offered a fair solution.
Lowe's never fails to disappoint me, I bought Richelieu brand drawer slides and the bracket that they had right beside them. I get home and start my project and find that I had the wrong brackets. I take them back to exchange them and they don't have the right ones. Lowe's website doesn't even carry them! I should have shopped at Menards.
Wood cutting staff is rude, when I told him what size I need he got sarcastic mad for some reason and didn't want to cut first and wanted to cut different size. I repeated a few times and he made 3 cuts and when I got home I found out that pieces were short! I think there should be a proper training.
I had carpet installed by Lowe's a few months ago. Installation was fast, and looks great! However it was the wrong carpet... Several phone calls and even a trip to the store with a square of the carpet, they confirmed that it was indeed the wrong carpet. They offered me a $100.00 gift card and that was it. They have bounced me around from phone call to phone call and never once returned my calls when they said they would. That's where things hit a wall. I've spent countless hours on hold, only to be disconnected. I've been passed from person to person when I do manage to get through, each time it ends with corporate telling me to talk to the local store and the local store to talk to corporate. To top it all off they called me a few weeks ago for a customer check up call, I explained the situation to them, and once again was disconnected after being put on hold. Ridiculous.
Lowe's has some good quality products. My disappointment comes from the staff in Warsaw, there are not enough check out lines and when I need help I literally have to run after a person to get it. When I do get their help they don't communicate what they are doing to help me. For instance, they start walking away and I have to ask "should I follow you?". Anyway, no all the staff is bad. And I know everyone is hard up for help, a little manners would be nice.
I adore this store. Every employee is so friendly and helpful and prices are decent. Love finding deals and understanding my project better.
