I changed my rating from one star to five stars on 9/10/14, now that Stacey Staley has resigned. It is not fair to leave a horrible rating out there when the offender is now gone. I'm sure that SPOnline will do well in the future and I look forward to reading their stories. Good luck to all of you!
I've seen a lot of reviews regarding SPO deleting comments. I commented ONCE ... let me repeat that, ONE TIME. My comment did not contain profanity nor was it a repeat offense as it was ONE TIME. I commented on how a story she wrote could have been written differently in order to educate the public and not create the bashing of one another that is frequently seen in her comment section. I was banned. When I emailed her to point out that she doesn't enforce her rules consistently she said I was provoking her. However, to this day, there are many people who "question" her articles/reporting and are not banned. She continued to tell me to leave her alone (ONE email to her, btw) or she would "go for harassment" charges. And, she actually did file something with the sheriff's dept. Of course it was dismissed as unsubstantiated. At best I would say she is quite unprofessional and at worst...well, I'll leave that up to the readers.
