Looks cozy.. food is mediocre at best.. hot and humid on inside witha hint of fish smell.
I really like eating at this place. Even when it's not too busy the food is consistently fresh and hot, as well as delicious. They also have a larger selection than you might expect. This place is worth checking out for sure. We need to eat here more often so they stick around. Check it out and bring a friend. I promise they won't disappoint.
First impression walking in is a mildly unpleasant fish smell coming from the foul looking water in the big fish tank. I was then escorted to my table by my 9 year old hostess wearing sweats and flip flops, who was actually very nice and helpful, kuddos to that kid. I then proceeded to choose from a fairly wide variety of food offered to me. It became clear to me that some of the more popular items, like the sweet and sour chicken and crab ragoons, were constantly being made fresh and served hot, yet other items were being left neglected, such as the lo mein, which was pretty cold despite having been refilled during my visit, and the fried rice which seemed like it had been out there for quite some time. As for my desert choices, Everything seemed decent, didn’t have a whole lot of problems with that sector except for the decieveing brownies and cakes, which appear to be chocolate yet taste nothing like it. Overall, for a $7.50 (lunch time) buffet, it’s not bad but vast improvements can be made. I would not mind PAYING MORE for better food quality. I would reccomend they improve the food quality, making sure its more hot and fresh even if it means raising the price a little more.
They use to own a restaurant in Huntington Indiana. I loved it when it was there and I still love the food now. I missed it when I lived in Huntington. I was excited when I seen that it was the same people
I find this to be the best Chinese restaurant in Warsaw. It is stuck behind Walmart, so if you don't know it is there you might miss it. I cannot vouch for evenings but I find the lunch buffet to be very good in selection, taste and price ($7 and change). A complaint that I have found at some Chinese eateries is the temperature of their food; Lake Buffet noodles, entrees and soups are always warm. I would recommend anyone giving it a try!
