Good food.. great service... needs work on plate presentation and distribution of condiments on the sandwiches. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the toppings on my burger were only on one side and falling off onto the plate.
I will not rate this Steak 'n Shake! There was only 3 people inside waiting and we had our breakfast and almost finished when they got theirs. Our food was cold. I don't expect to go back to this location for a long time!
The food was delicious. We got there a little later in the evening so it was pretty slow. The staff was decent. Very friendly, but kinda odd and talkative while we were trying to eat. Still one of my favorite places to eat though.
The food is always delicious, but two out of the three times we've eaten inside, the service is horrible. We went last night. After he took our order, our server disappeared. He was a very nice, polite kid, but we ended up waiting over 30 minutes to get our food, because he'd gone on a break (and we know this because another table asked for something and he told them he couldn't help them b/c he was on break). There were a dozen other employees there who could've brought us our food. We could see it sitting on the little shelf, ready to go, but sure enough, it didn't make it to us until our server came back from his break. The burgers were good, bacon crispy, but the fries were lukewarm, because it had sat there for over 15 minutes. Will go to the drive-through next time. Never had a problem with the drive-through. But we won't be eating in again.
Server was great, food was good, kitchen was slow in getting the orders out and nothing came out together.
